Dialysis Center

The Dialysis Center at K.I.K.D.A is one of our core facilities, providing over 170 dialysis sessions daily. This life-saving treatment is supported by 20 state-of-the-art dialysis machines and operates across three shifts from 8 AM to 10 PM, six days a week. To ensure the safety of Hepatitis B and C patients, a dedicated ward with six beds offers isolated care. Addressing the high demand for water during dialysis, we have installed a high-capacity RO Plant capable of filtering 60,000 gallons of water daily. This ensures an uninterrupted supply of clean water, essential for each dialysis session.

intensive Care Unit (ICU)

Our upgraded Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is designed to handle critical medical emergencies with utmost precision. It features 14 beds equipped with advanced ventilator systems and life-support technologies. Portable ultrasound and X-ray machines are available for rapid diagnostics, while in-house echocardiography ensures comprehensive cardiac evaluation. The ICU is also equipped to handle dialysis for critically ill kidney patients. These advancements allow us to save lives with swift and effective care in a state-of-the-art environment.

Operation Theaters

Our surgical facilities include three fully operational, state-of-the-art theaters where 20 to 25 major surgeries are performed daily. Staffed by skilled surgeons, anesthesiologists, and paramedics, the theaters are equipped to handle complex cases, particularly kidney and urological surgeries. Each procedure is performed with precision, adhering to the highest safety standards, ensuring optimal outcomes for our patients.

Lithotripsy Treatment

K.I.K.D.A stands as one of the largest providers of free Lithotripsy treatment in the region. This advanced, non-invasive procedure uses laser technology to break down kidney stones without requiring surgery or medication. Patients benefit from shorter recovery times and reduced complications, making it a revolutionary treatment for those suffering from kidney stones.

Outpatient Department (OPD)

Our Outpatient Department (OPD) serves as the backbone of patient care, facilitating approximately 600 patients daily. Patients can consult with specialists in nephrology, urology, diabetes, hypertension, cardiology, pulmonology, and general surgery. The OPD ensures timely access to quality healthcare, enabling accurate diagnoses, treatment planning, and follow-up care for a wide range of medical conditions.

Radiology Services

The Radiology Department is equipped to offer a comprehensive range of diagnostic and therapeutic services. The Diagnostic Radiology unit provides free X-rays, ultrasounds, Doppler scans, biopsies, and echocardiography. Additionally, the Interventional Radiology unit performs advanced, minimally invasive procedures guided by real-time imaging. These services are pivotal in diagnosing and treating complex medical conditions efficiently.

Vascular Surgery Department

Specialized in addressing the vascular needs of dialysis patients, our Vascular Surgery Department offers services such as fistula implants, Perm-Cath insertions, and treatment for vascular abnormalities. This department not only caters to our in-house patients but also supports neighboring dialysis centers, ensuring that dialysis-related vascular issues are effectively managed.

Laboratory Services

Our fully equipped laboratory plays a crucial role in supporting the hospital’s diagnostic needs. With cutting-edge machines, the laboratory ensures timely and accurate results for a wide variety of tests. This capability enhances our ability to deliver prompt and effective treatments, directly contributing to improved patient outcomes.

Central Sterilization Services Department (CSSD)

The CSSD is a critical component of our surgical infrastructure, ensuring that all surgical instruments are sterilized to meet international standards. By maintaining stringent hygiene protocols, the department minimizes infection risks, thereby safeguarding patient health during and after surgical procedures.

Gender-Specific Wards

To provide patients with dignity and comfort, our newly expanded facility includes separate wards for male and female patients, each with a capacity of 12 beds. These wards are designed to offer privacy and cater to the specific needs of each patient in a safe and welcoming environment.

Educational and Training Facilities

Our modern conference room, equipped with multimedia technology, supports educational workshops, seminars, and training programs. In collaboration with Sindh Medical Faculty, we offer free training sessions for paramedics and technical staff. These initiatives ensure the continued development of skilled healthcare professionals committed to serving the community.

CT Scan Department

To alleviate the financial burden of advanced imaging, our newly inaugurated CT Scan Department provides free CT scans to underprivileged patients. This facility enhances diagnostic accuracy and enables faster treatment planning, particularly for complex medical conditions.
